If his mother is not smiling or paying attention to him, he will bring her a toy after watching her for a moment. I think he is gauging her emotions and likes the comfort of her stare. Ryon watched me also. He wanted to know what I was feeling as well. I wanted to stay separate from him during my observation but always reacted when he paid attention. If I was looking down and taking notes, he would sometimes crawl over to me, sit near my legs with a toy, and periodically look up. I would smile or talk to him about his toy, and that seemed to satisfy him enough to resume his play.

When ryon goes from crawling to a standing position, he crawls to the couch and puts one hand up on the couch while leaning his head backward and plants his right leg on the ground to steady himself. Then he puts his other hand on the couch and pulls himself. This takes some effort. Ryon seems to be very tall and heavy for his age and is not walking yet. He does walk along the edge of the couch. He may have trouble walking on his own because of his size. Ryon seems healthy and strong, and his coordination seems typical for his age.

tried to feed her, she didnt take the bottle so well at first. SGs uncle had only seen her twice before. The fact that sg struggled to take the bottle from her uncle shows signs of Ericksons theory of Trust vs mistrust. Basic trust versus mistrust results in trust when the child receives sympathetic and loving care. The mistrustful baby cannot count on the kindness and compassion of others, so she protects herself by withdrawing from people. Important Information learned, by observing Infant sg, i realized that although the parents were showing a lot of love and compassion by holding sg they also may have deferred some of her motor skills. A child must be given the opportunity to build strength and explore their environment.
Also when sg awoke and needed bottle she would cry until she saw her mother enter the room. SGs language development only consisted of crying and cooing. The infant seemed to only cry when she needed a diaper change or to be fed. Social and Personality development, sG seemed to overall be a happy baby. During the observation the infant showed no signs of colic. The mother and father of sg were very caring and provided a good stable home for her.
